Dentists!!

Okay so aparently you're supposed to go to the dentist every six months to get your teeth cleaned but they fail to mention that you might as well donate blood instead!! My cleanings by someone who has done it for several years take about twenty minutes..today who looks about the same age as me, maybe a few years old took almost 40 minutes and went over and over my teeth O.O my poor teeth are aching now..<.< and it's not like I don't brush my teeth twice a day....but I suppose I can confidently say my teeth are clean now...O.O end of this rant <3

Awwwwww!!! *hugz* Sounds like they need to get a better hold on their newbies... o.O
I can't stand dentists either... use to be able to... but then they said that thet had to take my wisdom teeth (teeth that are not causing ANY trouble WHATSOEVER) out or 'they might cause problems later on'. I'm like... ya know what... my family's covered, so when that day comes you can rip them out. Cuz they would have to dig through the gums in order to find the blasted buggers and I'm like... ya, I don't wanna be sipping my fries through a crazy straw so soon, thank you very much, so I'll wait until they start acting up (they told me this two years ago and my wisdo teeth are still all nestled, snug and warm away in my gums... no problems to see by a long shot... stupid crank dentists... o.O) lol
There! There's my little rant on dentists... I feel special *claps giddily* I have a rant!! heeheehee

I meant to post this earlier when I noticed but forgot.. Sad

ANYWAYS so I pulled out theb stuff I got from the dentist, a toothbrush (nothing new), special floss for my wires (had braces xD also nothing new), Floss....now you wouldn't think anything by getting floss right? It's normal right? Well you can see the difference...my usual floss has mint flavour on it...the one given to me was....

I look at it and say what the hell...when did I turn into a kid... affraid

then flossing my teeth with it I'm like mmmm not bad...BUT WHY!!!! :nodunt:

I actually like my dentist. Everyone there is so nice and it never hurts when I go. Maybe I'm just bias because I've never had a cavity or any major work done on my teeth in years (got teeth pulled when I was 3, but i got over that). It just sucks that I have to drive about an hour to get to my dentist because my mom didn't like to switch when we moved.

I can see why your mum wouldn't want to change dentists especially if you've been with them awhile. Tis why I'll be hesitant to change dentists when I move

Actually, it's not just because my mom likes this dentist. My mom is very sensitive when it comes to dentists. When she needs work done, and i mean REAL work not just a cleaning, they have to give her all the works. Laughing gas, more numbing solution than it would normally take, anything to help keep her calm. Our dentist knows how to treat mom properly, and mom doesn't want to go train another one.
